Thanksgiving

I am sitting at my desk and thinking about "thanksgiving".  I am SO thankful for each and every student in my classroom.  As parents, I hope you know that your child is so loved and cherished here.  Today and tomorrow I am sending home some "homework": your child will bring home a turkey feather that he/she cut out.  Please decorate it with the things you are thankful for.  I would need a big enough feather to put each child's face on it...plus my husband and kitties!  I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our "Pumpkin Pie Party" at 12 on Nov. 22 and 23.  Take time to reflect upon what you are thankful for! :-)

Gearing up!

I am so excited to see the students next week!  Miss Susan and I have been busy preparing the room for all the kids.  We have sent out: a Welcome Letter, Car tags for your vehicle, another General Info letter, and a classroom schedule.  For lunch, we will be eating with Miss Jane's preschoolers in the Art Room.  You may buy or pack.  We will be sharing our rest time together as well in the Music Room.  Please feel free to call or e-mail if you have any questions or concerns!  I can't wait to start!! :-)
